5 online tools I can no longer live without
1. Zemanta, aka, the blogging god. If you know Zemanta, then you know what I mean. If you don’t know Zemanta, then you’re missing out. See the image on the this blog post? Thank Zemanta. See the further reading at the bottom? Zemanta. The link to Zemanta in this paragraph? All Zemanta. When Zemanta says “Zemanta is ready to suggest!” in its cute little third person voice, I’m ready to listen.
2. Bloglines. This has been my RSS feed reader for almost two years. Thanks to Bloglines, I feel smarter. Yes, other feedreaders have come along and tried to wrestle me from your grips. Flock‘s feed reader. My Yahoo. Even Twitter to a certain a extent, but I always come back to you because I’ve put in the time to set you up to speak to me in a personal way.
3. CoolIris (formerly Piclens). San Francisco based Cooliris has one of the coolest tools I’ve seen in a while. Words don’t do it justice. On the phone, a respresentative called it a Web 3.0 tool because it organizes content in such an elegant way. I don’t care what you call it, it’s awesome.
4. Twitter. Okay Twitter, I’ve used you for almost a year, I’ve updated 400 times, and I get it. You’re part conversation, part RSS feed, part social bookmarking, part connector, bragger and blogger. You are officially part of the conversation.
5. Delicious. I added my first bookmark on October 20, 2002. And I’ve never really looked back. Yes, there were some dark times in there where I Propelled around Digg and Stumbled around Mixx, but that was for work. What started as merely a place to avoid the craziness of e-mailing myself a link, has turned into a nice little social tool.
Some honorable mentions:
TinyUrl.com — makes a big URL tiny, and your toolbar rocks.
Google Maps — you get me where I need to be
Yelp.com — cool for finding neat places
Yahoo Mail — You’ve been my free mail for more than a decade.
LinkedIn — I see your potentia

Hi,
Andraz from Zemanta here.
I’d like to thank you for the distinguished mention! We just released new version which makes CrunchBase integration available, but also LiveWriter plugin and better Amazon integration.
Feedback is welcome!
bye
Andraz Tori, Zemanta
These are definitely soom cool applications. Although I think in the near future some such as Yahoo and Yelp will run into some head wind.
