July 25, 2011

Here are some questions to ask before starting any marketing campaign.

Q. What are you trying to do? Articulate is without using jargon.

Q. How are you doing it today, and what are the limits of current practice?

Q. What’s new in this approach and why will be successful?

Q. Who cares?

Q. Why will they care?

Q. What are the risks?

Q. What are the payoffs?

Q. How much will it cost?

Q. How long will it take?

Q. If we’re successful, what difference will it make? What impact will success have?

Q. How will success be measured?

Answer these questions fully, and then proceed.

What do you think? What did I miss? Should I add more?
